2025 - March

Welcome to the first edition of The Branching Out newsletter!

We've put together this website to give everyone easy access to information pertaining to our beloved camp.

A lot has happened in the past several months since the 2024 camping season concluded. During the fall camp meeting, held at the annual Tri-state Bible Conference in November at Grace, the attending churches voted to place Chas Hutchens as the president and Cameron Foskey as the vice president of the board of trustees. Let's all take a moment to reach out and thank Josh Campbell and Mark Thornton for serving in these roles for the past several years. Mark has recently resigned from his role as camp manager to focus more on the Heartland BC mission in Perry. We have also welcomed Kris Askew and his family to the camp manager house. Kris will be serving as our new camp manager.

Coming Up

We have set aside the 3rd Saturday of every month February through May as state-wide camp work days. We have 2 more state-wide work days coming up before the camping season kicks off in June:

Our camping season is rapidly approaching. Check the links below to see the upcoming camp dates.

Camper Spotlight

Church camp is a place of fun, friends, yummy food, and most importantly a place where you can grow closer to God. Camp is where I got saved, because I can feel God working through me. It is always especially powerful for me to see Him working through others. When you look around at a worship service, you can see earnest worship of God from those around you. Church camp always makes me so much closer to Him, because of the great environment for growing relationships and praising God.
